Discounts are in the air, our bargain-loving, Android-cherishing friends. Can you feel’ em? Sure you can, after all, we’ve already given you the scoop on Black Friday 2014 deals from a dozen recognized, reliable, respectable online and offline retailers.

With only 48 hours or so to go until Thanksgiving, and less than 72 before the busiest shopping day of the year, it’s time to tie up some loose ends, and wrap up those wish lists.

Remember, a slew of electronics merchants have turned the Black Friday buildup into a bona fide Black Week, while others remain faithful to traditions and welcome you in their stores for whopping savings as soon as you finish up your Turkey Day dinner.

Here are nine names to watch out for over the next few days, and parts of their holiday offerings for Google devotees:

RadioShack

This Black Friday veteran sure took its sweet time before spilling the beans on its imminent promos, but the waiting paid off. Big time! RadioShack’s Android friendly deals are some of the best around, perhaps only matched by giants like BestBuy or Walmart, and go live on Thursday, at 8 AM.

The first wave of special offers shall last for four hours, followed by a second one between 5 PM and 12 AM, and a third on the way Friday, at 6 AM. Plenty of time to help out your mothers or wives with dinner preparations, and get them a little something, something on the cheap for under the Christmas tree.

Super-awesome deals:

  • Samsung Galaxy S5 – free with AT&T, Verizon or Sprint contracts
  • Galaxy S5 – $500 off-contract
  • Samsung Galaxy S3 – $200 outright
  • Prepaid LG Volt for Sprint – $40
  • Google Chromecast – $25
  • LG G3 – free with two-year pacts
  • LG G3 + LG G Watch – $0 down on AT&T Next, Sprint Easy Pay or Verizon Edge (limited for the first 500 customers nationwide)
  • Net10 Motorola Moto E – $50 with no annual contract
  • Amazon Fire HD 6 – $80
  • Fire HD 7 – $110

Not impressed by any of the above? First of all, you’re nuts. And second, RS pledges to match any printed competitor’s price for all items on sale, plus throw in an extra 10 percent off. If they can discount the products further, because those GS5, G3 and G Watch deals are literally unbeatable.

RadioShack

Slightly less mouth-watering deals:

  • Nobis 7 – $50
  • Fitbit Flex – $100 (plus free $25 gift card for in-store purchases)
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 – $150
  • Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 – $250
  • Ematic, Trio Stealth or Visual Land 7-inch quad-core tablet – $70

Look, we’re not saying the Tab 4 7.0 or 10.1 deals aren’t decent. But enough already. For crying out loud, everyone and their mother has the Tab 4 pair on sale for the exact same prices. As for the Fitbit Flex, it’s up for grabs today on Amazon at $92 or so, before discounts.

Newegg

  • Asus MeMo Pad ME170CX – $80
  • EVGA Tegra Note 7 – $120
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 – $150
  • Asus C200 11.6-inch Chromebook – $180

newegg-black-friday

Wait, that’s all?!? Probably not. Probably, that’s all Newegg is ready to share at the moment, keeping, much like Amazon, its cards close to the chest until the very last minute. You’re advised therefore to check and refresh the online store early and often on Friday.

Newegg’s steals rarely last more than a few hours. Consider yourselves warned.

eBay

We know, we know, the auction outlet isn’t exactly at the top of your trust list. But these deals will be offered by some of the most trustworthy sellers around. And a few of them are just too good to turn down:

  • Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F with 4G – $450 unlocked
  • 13-inch Asus Chromebook – $150
  • LG/Google Nexus 5 factory unlocked – $319

Avoid at all costs:

  • iRulu 7 tablet with keyboard – $40

Meh:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (incorrectly listed as 10.4) – $300
  • Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 – $200

Sears

64 catalog pages chock-full of phenomenal doorbusters, and only a handful of Android promos worth our time and money? We’d have expected better from Sears, but hey, they’re not exactly the number one destination for tech consumers. Sears is getting a pass from us because of that, especially as they kick off the Black Friday celebration at 6 PM, on Thursday. Perfect timing in our book.

Sears

Hot deals:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 – $200 (plus $20 back in member points)
  • Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 – $250 (with $20 points)
  • TracFone LG Optimus Fuel – $10 off-contract
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 – $400 (plus $20 back in points for members)

You can probably do better elsewhere:

  • Xtreme 7 tablet – $40 (plus $10 back in points for members)
  • Trio Stealth G4 – $60 with 7-inch screen; $100 in 10-inch variation
  • FunTab 2 7-inch tablet for kids – $90

Shopko

Not exactly a gadget guru either, Shopko pulls off a slightly more enticing slate of bargains for tech enthusiasts in general and Android fanatics in particular. Online, their price cuts should be live tomorrow, Wednesday, while physical stores will be trimming costs Thursday afternoon.

Shopko

Hotties:

  • Roku Streaming Stick – $40
  • TracFone prepaid LG34C smartphone – $10
  • Amazon Fire HD6 – $80
  • Fire HD7 – $110
  • Garmin VivoFit fitness band – $80

Notties:

  • Polaroid 7-inch dual-core tablet bundle with wireless Bluetooth keyboard, stand and sleeve included – $70
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 – $150
  • Double Power 7-inch tablet – $40
  • Polaroid 7 Kids – $50

What is it with retailers and dirt-cheap tabs from obscure OEMs? I mean, we understood the practice a few years back, but you can score a legitimate Asus MeMo Pad for $80, HP 7 Plus or HP 7 G2 at $100 from Amazon today, and beat the Black Friday crowds. With that in mind, why wait and go through a lot of hassle to pick up a $70 Polaroid, or $40 Double Power (yuck)?

Adorama

Three lousy Android items on sale, and savings that can only be described as underwhelming. And we’re being kind. Yes, Adorama, we understand you’re a camera merchant first and foremost, but you need to get your priorities straight and branch out before it’s too late.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 – $280 after rebate
  • Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 – $150
  • Dell Venue 7 – $100

TigerDirect

Please tell us this is merely a preview of the promo bonanza to come. It can’t be everything. It just cannot.

Chromecast

  • 10-inch Asus tablet – $150
  • Proscan 7-inch tablet with bundled McAfee Security Suite – $5 after $50 rebate
  • Google Chromecast – $25 (and two free months of Hulu Plus)

By the by, Tiger Direct, maybe next time you’ll actually list the names of discounted objects for us to know what we’re buying. Asus has dozens of 10-inch tabs under its belt. Literally, dozens.

Fred Meyer

Fred Meyer

Not familiar with Fred Meyer? Maybe you should get acquainted, and find one of their brick and mortar locations near you. Just do it quickly, as these sizzling hot deals and doorbusters open at 5 AM on Friday:

  • Amazon Fire HD 6 – $79 with 8 GB storage; $99 in 16 GB configuration
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 – $150
  • Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 – $250
  • 13-inch Asus Chromebook – $200
  • Fitbit Charge – $130 (plus free $25 gift card)

PC Richard & Son

Another smaller, lesser known retailer, one more roster of deals meant to give big kahunas like TigerDirect, Adorama or Sears some serious headaches. Too bad this family-owned business is squarely accessible to residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. If you accidentally bump into a PC Richard store on your way to the neighborhood Walmart, here’s what we recommend you look for come Friday, 6 AM:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Kids Edition – $130
  • Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit – $100
  • Fitbit Flex – $79

Fitbit_Flex

And here’s what not to bother with:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 – $150
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 – $250
  • No-name 10.1-inch Android 4.4 tablet – $70

That’s a wrap for today, bargain hunters from all 50 states, but keep an eye out for a convenient Black Friday 2014 survival guide, and more importantly, moar deals. Thursday and Friday, we’ll be at your beck and call with shopping lists that we’ll update as promos crop up. We’re in this together, dear readers, and we promise you won’t regret sticking around.
